Eligibility Criteria for PhD Program

Candidates applying for the PhD Program must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • A Master’s Degree (Postgraduate) in the relevant discipline or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institution with a minimum of 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale).
  • Candidates who have qualified NET, JRF, GATE, SLET, SET, MPhil, or are Teaching Fellows, are exempt from the written entrance examination, subject to the university’s admission rules.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA (Chartered Accountant), CS (Company Secretary), and ICWA/CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) are considered equivalent to a postgraduate degree for admission to the PhD Program, as per university norms.
